What Is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic is the science which concerns itself with the relationship between structure and function of the human body, especially as it relates to the restoration and preservation of health. As chiropractors, we work to find areas of the spine and other joints where motion is restricted. Treatment of those restrictions restores function and flexibility to the joints, thereby reducing pain and spasm. Dr. Londergan also encourages natural healing methods such as exercise, proper diet and supplementation, good body mechanics and the use of heat and cold.

Conditions Commonly Treated

Although chiropractic is used most frequently to relieve back pain, studies have found it to be effective for a variety of conditions, such as migraine headaches, neck and shoulder pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, and fibromyalgia. Dr. Londergan treats patients of all ages and also enjoys treating women who are pregnant.  She has also completed post-graduate training in Graston technique for soft-tissue and repetitive use injuries.
